My awesome friend Heather brought over the cutest pillows ever for us at Christmas time. I've been meaning to blog about it for a while but we've been sick and life has been a little crazy. Aren't they ridiculously cute? I love love how they turned out.
She followed my post from here to make them. All you do is find a place mat that has fabric on both sides. Unpick a small section and stuff it with batting then once it's stuffed to your liking stitch it back up. You can use a sewing machine but it's probably easier to sew it by hand which is what she did here. I just love how they turned out. She is so super nice to bring me some. Now she's got me thinking I need to make me some for valentines day! I'll be on the look out for some fun place mats :)

ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say, as I was sewing the pillows Greg asked why I didn't just sew them on the machine (which would have been much easier). I had to remind him that I don't have a working machine, nor really a desire to get one. That's why I'm friends with you, right? ;)
P.S. I still need to hire you to make some curtains for our glass office doors.
