Frozen

Are your girls as obsessed with frozen as mine are? I have had tons of requests for Elsa dresses because they are sold out everywhere and have been for months. The only problem is I've been inundated with wedding season and have had to turn most of the Elsa requests down. But my adorable cousin was having a birthday & her mom was desperate so I agreed to make one really quickly for her. I ended up getting another call that same day for another. Long story short I ended up making 3 Elsa dresses in one day!! And I have a small stack of orders for more after I finish up all these crazy weddings. It was a really fun change of pace. I just used a basic long sleeve dress pattern and created a long cape out of a large rectangle that I cinched up. I modified the bodice of the dress to have the heart shaped faux neckline just like queen Elsa.

I'm super lucky to have the perfect Elsa model. She can even freeze things, just ask her ;)

T-shirt dress

This is another Tshirt dress just like the one I did here. The only difference is I chose to attach the skirt lower on the Tshirt. I also added a ruffle to the bottom & a bow on the side.
She is such a sweet little thing. Love her to pieces!Love her to pieces!

Finleys big day

Isn't this girl so adorable! I made this dress way back when her momma was pregnant. You can see how Here. The family has been super busy moving twice & finally got settled into their new home and decided it was time to bless their beautiful baby girl! So honored to be apart of her special blessing day. I just adore this beautiful family!

Chevron dress

This girl couldn't be any cuter!
She needed summer clothes in a major way! This is the easiest dress ever. Seriously 30 minutes or less. I simply took a basic white t-shirt and cut it off where I wanted it. Took half a yard of fabric surged both the top and the bottom. cinched the top and pinned it to the top putting right sides together and sewed it.  I also found this cute lace ribbon that I liked and so I added that to the seam. I made a fabric flower using this method and attached it with a pin so I can take it off for washing. But it definitely isn't necessary.

We also had to make a matching one for our new baby cousin!
I actually made a few dresses using this method but haven't had a chance to take pictures yet so hopefully those will be coming soon.

Beautiful wedding dress & 9 lace skirts

Excuse the camera phone pictures. I will have professional pictures to post later but I was too excited to wait. I'm so honored! I have been asked to make a wedding dress for cute Kelsey's wedding. I was so honored & honestly a bit nervous. I mean a girls wedding dress is a huge deal! Kelsey couldn't have been more easy to work with. She knew exactly what she wanted which made it so much easier for me. And honestly, this girl is so gorgeous she would look amazing in anything!

She chose to have an Ivory Silk floor length dress with a lace overlay. she had a darker Ivory sash.  It had cap sleeves and a sweetheart neckline, the back had buttons all the way down. There was a scalloped edge along the bottom and on the neckline and bottom of the sleeves. Beautifully elegant.
They had a beautiful wedding at the Salt Lake Temple and then had a ring ceremony afterwards.  I also made the beautiful Gray lace skirts for her 9 bridesmaid's.

So grateful to have such a great couple in my life and such an amazing example to my girls! Love this couple so much & I'm so honored that they let me be a part of their special day!
